The Paddle cafe, just a few minutes; walk, is a fantastic spot for breakfast and your beloved pooches are welcome too. Highcliffe beach is popular with surfers and once down on the beach you can walk the south coastal path leading right round Christchurch Bay and beyond. In fact, Highcliffe beach, Friars Cliff beach and Avon beach have all been awarded blue flag status this year and also been given a seaside award which means they are among the best beaches in the UK.
