The whole of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, including the lovely seaside town of Lyme Regis is a short drive away. The famed village of Abbotsbury with its swannery is a few minutes' drive from Bridport and the very popular Hive Beach Cafe at Burton Bradstock is a must visit. The 18-mile-long Chesil beach, which runs from Portland to West Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is very nearby and offers dramatic scenery.
